If you need to change Custom Fields for many of your assets at once, using Bulk Actions in the left hand side menu of the interface is how to do it.
Bulk Custom Fields will add or change custom field values for assets already in your register.
Your assets will be matched based on the Asset Code you specify or our internal Asset ID.
You can download all of your assets and their existing Custom Field assignments first by using the Asset Export Report . This file will be pre-populated with your Asset Codes and Asset IDs.
From the search asset export menu you can choose to download templates which will have the necessary columns for each bulk action.
Important Fields:
- Asset Code or ID - This has to match the existing code on the asset or use our internal Asset ID.
- Custom Fields Values - A column for each custom field you want to add or update.
