AssetAccountant’s core leasing functionality allows users to enter leases with the following fact patterns:

  • Various types of asset finance lease management can be managed by inputting the amount financed and payment schedule into the system:
    • Hire purchase
    • Chattel mortgages 

  • Right-of-Use assets and leases can also be set up in AssetAccountant with:

    • a payment schedule

    • corresponding interest rate (IBR) to create the initial value for the asset and lease liability

The leasing functionality available in AssetAccountant also adopts the Sage Intacct Integration which for leases encompasses:

  • Creation of granular mappings to the Sage Intacct chart of accounts

  • Review and post journals directly from AssetAccountant to Sage Intacct

  • Synchronisation of Dimensions from Sage Intacct to AssetAccountant’s Classifications and journals created broken down by relevant Dimension
