In all of our subscription plans, all assets in a register count towards your pricing on invoices, typically per 100 assets.

Fully-depreciated and disposed assets DO count towards your subscription quota. This is because they will already appear in your tax and accounts reporting and can't just 'disappear'.

If you do carefully delete assets that you no longer need to preserve in AssetAccountant, and this brings you from, say 101 to 99 assets for example, your monthly subscription would go down to the lower pricing tier.

You could, in this instance, export your assets to Excel prior to any deletion so that you had an offline record.

We must note that, for data integrity reasons, deleting assets like this is definitely NOT recommended.

Some Q&As:

Q

AA supports quantities. If I add one asset to my register, say a chair, but add a quantity of 20 chairs, is this priced as a single asset or 20 assets towards my asset cap/count?

A

Assets with quantities applied are counted only as 1 line item towards your total asset cap/count. So you could have 20 (or even 1,000) identical chairs in your register, that count as only the one unit towards your monthly or annual subscription.

Q

Are disposed assets counted towards my subscription asset count and pricing?

A

Yes: this has already been factored into the pricing structure. Because you still need to report the total cost in accounts. So if you delete assets that you still own, then your reporting would be wrong.

Q

Are fully depreciated assets counted towards my subscription asset count and pricing?

A

Yes: this has already been factored into the pricing structure. As per above, the cost was already reported in your accounts. So if you delete assets that you still own, then your reporting would be wrong.

If you have more than 1000 assets under management in your AA account, we are happy to discuss a custom pricing plan with you.
