The "This transaction is missing dimension" error message means that an asset has been created without the mandatory Sage Intacct dimensions being applied to it/them.

In the above example it is the 'Department' dimension.

When an asset does not have the required dimensions for your Sage Intacct setup, Sage Intacct won't accept the journal lines.

This can be fixed by:

1. Ensuring ALL assets have a value for the missing dimension;

2. Check the accuracy of the mappings of the dimension in question in AssetAccountant (Register settings > Classifications)

3. Re-Syncing your classifications/dimensions before posting the journal;

  • Then delete the current journal,
  • Re-run the journal,
  • And post the new journal to Sage Intacct.
