Classifications are a unique additional way AssetAccountant™ can separate Asset Group journal line items. They are accommodating for individual reporting practices.

 

The most common uses for Classifications are Profit or Cost Centres such as:

 

  • Location or,
  • Department.

 

Classifications can be imported and aligned to existing Classifications by selecting an existing Classification in the dropdown menu or taken up as a new Classification direct from the import by selecting “New Classification”.

 

Additionally, there is the option to take up any other data you feel necessary to keep with your assets.

 

To do this, select the radio button next to the data you would like to import and map to “Free Text”, the left-hand dropdown menu.
