Faktored is fully integrated with Intuit, allowing Intuit users to log in and start using any product without the need to create a new account.


To use this functionality, simply click on the Sign in with Intuit button present at the login screen, the button looks like this:




How it works


Upon clicking the Sign in with Intuit button, you will be redirected to Intuit and prompted to enter your credentials.


After successfully authenticating, Faktored will gain permission to access the following information about you:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email
  • Phone Number
  • Address


Using this information, an account will be automatically provisioned based on the email address.


In the event that there is an existing Faktored account under the same email address it will be linked automatically, allowing you to access that account. 



Attaching an Intuit account to an existing Faktored account


In the event that you have an existing Faktored account under a different email addresses to your Intuit account, you will need to navigate to your Faktored profile page by clicking here.


You will be asked to log in to your Faktored account if not already logged in. Upon successful authentication, you should be able to see the following page:



While on the above page, click on the Sign in with Intuit button, doing so will take you through the same flow as described in the How it works section with the difference that the Intuit account will be linked to your currently authenticated Faktored account.


Upon successfully authenticating to Intuit, you will be redirected back to your profile page, there should now be a Connected tag next to Intuit, like so:



Congratulations! You have successfully linked your existing Faktored account to your Intuit account. You may now use your Intuit credentials to log in to your Faktored account.



Verifying your Intuit email address


Faktored only accepts Intuit users that have a verified email address. In the event that an Intuit account is not verified, the sign-in attempt will result in failure.


To remedy this issue, please navigate to your Intuit account settings by clicking here.


You will be asked to log in to your Intuit account if not already logged in. Upon successful authentication, you should be able to see the following page:



While on the above page, click on the Verify Email link, you will be presented with the following modal:



Clicking on Send Verification Email will trigger an email to be sent to your registered email address. The email looks like this:



Upon clicking Verify My Email you will be redirected back to your account settings page, there should now be a Verified tag next to your email, like so:



Congratulations! You have successfully verified your Intuit account, you can now use it to log in to any Faktored product!
